This consolidated edition of the FAL Convention includes amendments adopted at the 40th session of the FAL Committee, which entered into force on 1st January 2018.

This publication reproduces the FAL Convention and incorporates all recent amendments. As well as the articles of the Convention, it includes annexes that cover topics such as public health and quarantine, stowaways and arrival, stay and departure of ships.

Appendices provide additional information on facilitation requirements including IMO FAL Forms, arrival and departure of persons and IMDG Code amendment 38-16, chapter 5.4 on Documentation.
