Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with Boat Books Australia!

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, please review our returns and refund policy below.

1. Returns

  • You may return most items within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in mint condition as when received.
  • Some items are non-returnable, including:

    • Laminated Charts
    • Gift cards

2. How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us at boatbooks@boatbooks-aust.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will provide you with a return authorization and instructions.
  3. Ship the item back to us at the address provided.
  4. Keep your proof of postage until the return is processed.

3. Refunds

  • Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except if the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).

4. Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund after 10 days, please check with your bank or credit card company first.
