AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness

This form is for seafarers applying for a near coastal certificate of competency.

It lets us know you are medically fit for working at sea. (Note: ‘near coastal’ is also known as ‘domestic’).

Note: any GP can do this medical check, you don’t need to go to a specialist.

If you have an international marine qualification and a current AMSA form 303, you can use it instead of AMSA form 1850.
