Sailing Language

Communication is everything, especially on a sailboat where not only winning or losing a race, but life and limb can depend on it. Sailing language is not a dictionary – rather itis a useful, literate compendium of the language of boats and sailing. It contains the vocabulary sailors use, arranged so that they can find the words they want for the particular use they want to make of them.
