STCWF came into force on September 29, 2012.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSTCW-F Code\u003c\/strong\u003e applies the principles of STCW to fishing vessels from ratifying states that are 24 meters in length and above and officers in the engine department of fishing vessels of powered by main propulsion machinery of 750 kW propulsion power or more.
