Thousand Dollar Yacht

Anthony Bailey, living in England, found a builder for the hull of his 28 Dory and with the help of good friends finished constructing the Billy Ruffian. He then salvaged, scrounged, and occasionally – it was a great thrill – bought whatever was needed for fitting out the boat. Before long he and his family were sailing a simple, spacious and eye catching craft completed within his one thousand dollar budget.
