About the Authors

Eric Twiname had an unrivalled reputation as master of racing tactics and methods before his untimely death in 1990

Cathy Foster was IYRU Women’s Double-handed World Champion in 1978 and 1979 and in 1984 was the first helmswoman ever to compete in the Olympics Games in the then mixed 470 class. She is now a freelance consultant and coach.
