This guide, which supersedes the 3rd edition of “Hose Standards”, published in 1978, has been prepared by OCIMF with the purpose of providing technical requirements to ensure the satisfactory performance of rubber, reinforced, smooth bore, oil suction and discharge hose commonly used for offshore moorings. This hose is normally used for the transfer of crude oil and liquid petroleum products (other than liquefied petroleum gases and natural gases)
