This guide to more than 13,000 drawings and other design records of the Herreshoff yard is divided into descriptions of catalog cards, casting cards, the HMCo. construction record, offset booklets, drawings, technical and business records, half-hull models, and historic microfilm.

Appendixes include the HMCo. construction record and a complete list of Herreshoff-built vessels by name and hull number.
