Boat Books Australia guarantee that if you are not satisfied with any purchase, for any reason, simply reutrn it to us in original condition.  We will replace the item,  credit your account or send you a refund at your request.

Three Easy Ways to Purchase
You may use our online shopping cart with secure transaction server for payment, or you can print our fax/mail order form, complete it and either fax, email or fax us with the details.

Prices
Prices are subject to change without notice.  All goods are shopped at prces in effecdt at time of despatch.  Prices shown are in Aus$ and include GST.  We will endeavour to keep delivery charges as low as possible while maintaining prompt delivery. 

Backorders and Discontinued Lines
While we do our best to ensure the immediate availability of all items on our site, there may be occasions when a delay is experience.  All goods in stock will be despatched within two working days.  We will make every effort to advise you if any goods will take longer than 5 working days to despatch.  For your convenience, small back orders are automatically cancelled and in the unusual circumstances of a discontinued line, the order will not be processed.  Orders paid by cheque or money order will be refunded by cheque.  Credit card orders are cancelled with no charges billed.

Returns and Exchanges
We inspect every shipment to ensure the goods shipped are what you ordered and that they are undamaged when packed.  Upon receipt please inspect the package carefully and note any damage.  If delivered  by carrier notify the carrier immediately of the damage.  You may return your purchase, within 30 days, in person to any of our offices listed in this site.  Please ensure that your name and address are correct on the invoice.  Include your phone number or e-ail address in case we need to contact you.  Enclose a copy of the invoice wit the goods and note on the invoice the reason for return .  Returns should be packaged to prevent damage in transit.  Shipping charges should be prepaid.

Privacy
Boat Books Australia will not sell, rent or otherwise pass your name on to any person or organisation.  For your protection we do not keep a record of your credit card number.  You will be asked to provide your card number with each purchase.  

Local Taxes
Books, charts, electronic instruments, and navigation equipment are subject to GST at 10%.  Customers outside Australia will receive tax-free prices.

Terms
All orders must be prepaid.  We are unable to provide for C.O.D. deliveries. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment Options
For international customers (outside Australia) we can accept only payment by Visa, MasterCard American Express or Diners Club.  For Australian customers, we can also accept Bankcard, Cheque, money orders and banks transfers in addition to the above credit cards.

Security
All payments made by credit card are encrypted and managed through secure server technology and are handled in the safest most confidential manner.  If you do not wish to provide payment details online you may phone, fax or post the details to us.

Shipping Details
Within Australia: there is a bas charge of $6.5 which applies to all orders with an additional charge of $2.00 per item capped at $15.
International: there is a standard delivery, this is via economy air mail services.  Base charge per order of $6.5 plus $3.00 per chart and $10.00 per book.
Express Delivery: this is via normal air mail services.  Base charge per order of $13.00 plus $3.00 per chart and $10.00 per book.
Courier and Urgent Delivery: We will try to obtain the most economical rate for you.  Charts and books need to be dispatched separately.

Typographic, pricing and photographic errors are unintentional and subject to correction.  We regret, but are not liable for, incorrect photos or typographical errors.
